Memo Pad Tutorial with Pen Holder
The above memo pad holder is for a 3 x 3 post-it note and the holder is for a small gel like pen. First start with a 7 3/8" & 3 1/4" Piece of Card Stock. Use the long side of the Card Stock and score at 3 1/8", 3 1/2" & 3 7/8". To create the pen holder, fold in half of center score line and cut two slits in the middle of the panel. Pop center piece of two right sides, glue the other sides together so that only the pen holder portion remains. In gluing the sides down you add an extra support to the pen holder. Open the flap open and glue the bottom piece of the post it note to the Card Stock memo pad holder. When you glue the bottom piece down it allows you to use this memo pad over and over again. All you have to do is remove the bottom piece of the new post-it, toss it out and place new post-it notes onto the bottom layered which is glued onto the bottom area of the post-it note.
Post-it Note Organizer
Use a 8 x 5.5" score 3 3/4" on each side for the base. Use a 3.5" x 5 1/4" designer front paper. The folder on the inside is a 6 x 4 card stock paper score a 1/2" on all 3 sides and use an oval punch as seen above and punch out a half moon section of the card stock so that you can easily remove any of the items you put in. Once you have cut out the oval in the folder, attach it to a 5 x 3 1/2" card stock. Then attach that piece to the maid card stock organizer as above. If you want to create a holder for the pen you can always attach a 5.5" ribbon and create a loop so the pen cap can hold onto the ribbon. Some people choose to create a lifted top cover to the front using a 4 3/4" x 2 3/4" card stock. You can design it any way you like.
I wanted a simple cover so I just used 3D pop stickers and lifted the book sheet in the front.
