Memo Pad & Post-it Note Organizer tutorial

Memo Pad Tutorial with Pen Holder

The above memo pad holder is for a 3 x 3 post-it note and the holder is for a small gel like pen.  First start with a 7 3/8" & 3 1/4" Piece of Card Stock.  Use the long side of the Card Stock and score at 3 1/8", 3 1/2" & 3 7/8".  To create the pen holder, fold in half of center score line and cut two slits in the middle of the panel.  Pop center piece of two right sides, glue the other sides together so that only the pen holder portion remains.  In gluing the sides down you add an extra support to the pen holder.  Open the flap open and glue the bottom piece of the post it note to the Card Stock memo pad holder.  When you glue the bottom piece down it allows you to use this memo pad over and over again.  All you have to do is remove the bottom piece of the new post-it, toss it out and place new post-it notes onto the bottom layered which is glued onto the bottom area of the post-it note.

Use a 8 x 5.5" score 3 3/4" on each side for the base.  Use a 3.5" x 5 1/4" designer front paper.  The folder on the inside is a 6 x 4 card stock paper score a 1/2" on all 3 sides and use an oval punch as seen above and punch out a half moon section of the card stock so that  you can easily remove any of the items you put in. Once you have cut out the oval in the folder, attach it to a 5 x 3 1/2" card stock.  Then attach that piece to the maid card stock organizer as above.  If you want to create a holder for the pen you can always attach a 5.5" ribbon and create a loop so the pen cap can hold onto the ribbon.  Some people choose to create a lifted top cover to the front using a 4 3/4" x 2 3/4" card stock.  You can design it any way you like.

I wanted a simple cover so I just used 3D pop stickers and lifted the book sheet in the front.

Please let me know if this tutorial was helpful.  Sometimes I find it easier viewing the actual videos.  I would like feedback so that I am able to help my readers in any way possible.  I love to create and if I can make creating fun and easy for you, then I will be happy knowing that I have helped at least one person and hopefully turn them into a crafting fanatic!

Easel Cards and Easel Cards

EASEL CARDS

I actually saw a video on Youtube when I was in search of paper craft creations on easel cards.  It was so simple to do and the two shown are the first ones I have done.  Once I get a grip on this entire blogging aspect of things, I will begin my step by step process on how to do everything.  I am hoping to not be so camera shy and start doing my own video tutorials.  I also want to challenge myself too so give me ideas and I will try to do what I can to bring it to life.

BIRTHDAY CARDS

I just recently started to mass produce and it has been the best idea.  Mass producing especially for craft shows work out great and in your favor.

A majority of my blogs have pictures that are not as colorful or as bright as they are or should be because I was taking the pictures with my camera phone.  As you can see my camera phone was not so great.

Love, Fun and Fancy Things

A LITTLE GLITTER AND FUN!

For some odd reason when it comes to doing wedding, wedding shower cards and fancy fun birthday cards I am at a loss.  If you have any suggestions or ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

As you can see I am a fan of Spellbinders, EK Punches and Martha Stuart Punches.  I try to use them as much as possible.  I usually use the glue dot rollers but sometimes they do not glue the way they should.  Does anyone know of a different way or glue to make these punches stick to the paper without it lifting after a day?  I started to use the glue stripes but I do not like the fact that you can see the access glue.
