Stickpins

Stickpins.  Are used as corsage pins, hat pins and even as decorative pins.

Stickpins are not hard to make.  In order to really make it stand out and have an expensive look is by using glossy accents glue.  This is great because it goes on and dries clear so nothing shows.  What is even better is if you use this glue with Swarovski Crystal beads.  In all the stickpins shown below, I used Swarovski Crystals.  They are beautiful, and in the light they are beautiful.  The best size pins to use are 3" and 5/8's, 2.5" and 2" pins.

I will create a separate blog on how to create different size stickpin boxes once I have all the different measurements.  I want to be able to provide a few different sizes rather than one blog on one size.  I love choices so having only one choice tends to turn me off.  I love to learn and I am hoping that you will feel as though your time spent on my blog site is worth your precious time.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are pretty simple to do.  I cut 2 pieces of 2 x 6.5" card stock paper and adhere them together.  I punch a small hole on top and add a eyelet to it.  I usually use ribbon to accent the bookmark.  You can cut as many ribbons into the eyelet as you can if you want to add more flare.

I try to cater to all different types of clients.  Not everyone likes the same thing so offering a variety of products is great.

Most of my bookmarks are 2 x 6.5" but I also do different sizes.  I sometimes try to make gift sets to offer clients the chance to get a complete set rather than different pieces that look good together but are not exactly the same.
